Today Nifty opened Gap Up 64 Points at 5325. Its after the People's Bank of China signaled over the weekend that it would end the yuan's de-facto peg to the US dollar. Foreign funds have made heavy purchases of Indian stocks over the past few days. Most Indian firms have paid higher advance tax in Q1 June 2010 over Q1 June 2009. Higher advance tax payment normally indicates higher profits for the period under review.
On the upside, if Nifty manage to trade and close above 5352 levels (Spot) then it is likely to test recent 7th April 2010 highs of 5400 levels.
Today our Positional traders Entered Above/at 5034 Level for Target 5374 with SL 4948 in June Expiry, have booked full profit at 5374 (Todays High 5377.55)
Traders holding long positions can trail the stop loss to 5120 levels (revised yesterday) and trade with positive bias as long as markets hold 5120 levels.
